Hi there! My name is Lindsey Tucker and I’m a music lover, crate digger, and storyteller.
My passion for music started at a young age inspired by my parents’ love of concerts and anything guitar. I grew up listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, partially in thanks to my brother. As I grew into an adolescent, my music reflected my teenage attitude with Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, and Hawthorne Heights blaring my CD player. As I prepared for a new chapter in college, partying became a regular part of my life, which is where rap music entered, including Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. Upon graduating, my partying slowed down and I entered a time where I was conflicted on what kind of music to listen to – I loved rap and I loved rock. After a couple of years of listening to both and becoming the person I am today, I realized I can listen to both – heck, I can even throw in some house music in there! I can be a complex person who is inspired by all music.
My love for music especially heightened in 2015 when my parents handed down their record player, a vintage Panasonic. Since then, I’ve been buying vinyl and digging through crates any chance I get.
In 2020, my passion for music became my everyday career when I landed my dream job as the Music Marketing Coordinator for a string of local concert venues. I still aspire to begin my own record label one day, but until then I’m writing about the music industry, my favorite artists, concert experiences, album reviews, and more. Together, let’s untuck the best music out there.
